By Manufacturing Method:
- Welded Steel Grating– Most common type, bearing bars and cross bars are welded together.
- Press-locked Steel Grating– Cross bars are locked into bearing bars under pressure without welding.
- Swage-locked Steel Grating– Cross bars are inserted into pre-punched holes in the bearing bars and then swaged (deformed) to lock them in place.
- Riveted Steel Grating– Bearing bars are joined by rivets, providing extra strength and durability.
2. By Surface Type:
- Plain Steel Grating– Flat surface, suitable for general industrial and commercial use.
- Serrated Steel Grating– With a notched surface for slip resistance, ideal for wet or oily environments.
